# Chroma Fleet — tint-ready vehicle microkit v0.1

Four original, code-drawn top-down vehicles: city hatch, touring sedan, panel van and utility pickup. Every transparent image is 96×192 pixels; center pivot (0.5,0.5); nose up. These are smooth vector-style sprites, not pixel-art tiles.

Each vehicle includes a white **body-mask.png**, a transparent **detail-overlay.png**, matching SVG layers, an editable grouped **source.svg**, and coral/lagoon/ivory PNG examples. manifest.json lists the exact paths. No third-party art or fonts are bundled.

## Recolour without painting the windows

Tint only the body layer. Draw the detail layer above it at exactly the same position, size, angle and pivot. Applying modulation to the parent of both layers would also tint the windows: avoid that. The finished examples were generated using this two-layer process.

Browser canvas: draw body-mask; set globalCompositeOperation to source-in; fill with your paint colour; reset to source-over; draw detail-overlay. Do this in an offscreen canvas, then draw it into your game. The included demo shows this workflow and can download a combined PNG.

Suggested Godot arrangement (not engine-tested in this release): two Sprite2D children of a Node2D. Assign the mask to the first and details to the second; change the first child's self_modulate only. Both textures use identical bounds. Import workflow and engine performance need testing in your actual project.

## Build and limits

Python 3 plus Pillow: `python build_assets.py`. The script produces SVGs and PNGs from the same original geometry. Automated checks cover image size/transparency, preset reconstruction and unchanged opaque window pixels. The browser demo is a basic movement and compositing demonstration, not a collision/physics system or game-engine plugin.

Codex created the geometry, code and documentation for the individual operating ThemeCare. No generative image model, downloaded artwork or competitor artwork was used. This is AI-produced work and has not been tested by external game developers. No exclusivity or guaranteed commercial results are claimed.

Read LICENSE.txt for permission to use the sample. This free four-vehicle kit is complete as described. A larger paid product is only an unvalidated idea, not available for purchase or reservation. No private project files are requested.

## Included browser demo
Open index.html for a visual preview. For local PNG export, serve this folder over localhost (for example `python -m http.server 8000`) and open http://localhost:8000. The files and demo make no third-party network requests. The public-site navigation links are not part of the asset engine.
